Capital Planning

Through capital planning we ensure strategic investment, and focus on the building envelope, health & safety, and code compliance.

A 5 – 10 year Capital plan is created from building condition assessments and takes the entire portfolio long and short term needs into consideration for major repairs, renewal, upgrades and modernization.

The capital budget is used to fund renewal projects once materials reach the end of their lifecycle, and to upgrade aging infrastructure.

A detailed budget is prepared for planned  capital projects, taking into consideration priority needs and long term sustainability.
