Paying Your Rent

Tenants of Durham Region Non-Profit Housing Corporation have several payment options available:

Online / Telephone Banking

Pre-Authorized Payment

Post-Dated Cheques

Cash, Debit, Cheque or Money Order

Online / Telephone Banking

Rent payments can be set up through all banking institutions (except for Scotia Bank).  Please contact the Finance Department for instructions and assistance.

Pre-Authorized Payment

A series of post-dated cheques can be provided to our office for payment of rent.

*A $15 fee will be charged to your account for cheque and direct withdrawal payments not honored by your bank.

In Person Payment

Payment of rent can be made in person at Durham Region Non-Profit Head Office during office hours 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (not withstanding Statutory holidays).  Payment methods accepted – Cash / Debit / Money Order / Personal Cheque.

*Note: Credit Card and Pre-Paid Gift Card payments are not accepted.

Additional Information

  • Rent payments cannot be accepted by Superintendents or Property Managers.

  • Residents of Brock Non-Profit Housing and Parkview Newcastle Lodge – payments are not accepted in the form of Online Banking or Debit.
